In my previous post I told you all about an effective compound workout. In this post I will continue to pick up from where I left where I will discuss how we can take this compound workout up a level.
Not only can we do straight Bicep curls and chest flies, to top it up we can perform shoulder press as an extra. You can do this after chest flies or straight bicep curls. Whichever works best for you.
This will make your compound workout more intense and explosive because you are now combining more workouts at the same time doing a number of sets which means more reps. Pretty cool eh.
In addition, you are applying more pressure to your muscles because for example the chest flies and shoulder press can be a challenging workout. Therefore combining these two together will enable you to exert more pressure on your muscles.
The more muscles you hit at the same time the greater the muscle shock. As a number of different body parts become sore and go through the growth and repair stage together, this results to increased muscle growth.
